Newport, - Gladys Ann Travers Rodrigues, 67, of 87 Girard Avenue Newport, RI, formerly of 27 Whitwell Avenue, Newport, RI, died Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late Richard B. Rodrigues. Born in Newport, RI on June 25, 1936, she was the daughter of John and Marion Viera Travers.Mrs. Rodrigues was a member of the BPOE Lodge of Newport. She is survived by two daughters Karen Williams of Warwick, RI, and Kelly Huntley of Charlotte, NC, her sister Alice Radkovich of Vero Beach, FL, three granddaughters Stacia Calash and Haley Huntley both of Charlotte, NC and Shannon Williams of Warwick, RI, and her niece Kimberly Bateman of Portsmouth, RI.Her funeral will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2003, at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.
