Gladys C. Vindinha

Middletown, - Gladys C. Vindinha, 75, of 557 Aquidneck Avenue Middletown, died Thursday, October 23, 2003 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. Born in Middletown, RI on September 20, 1928, she was the daughter of the late John M. and Alice Santos Vindinha. Miss Vindinha was a billingclerk for the Newport Electric Company for 25 years, retiring in 1988. She was very active in Jesus Saviour Church. She printed the church bulletins and was involved with many church activities. She is survived by her brother John J. Vindinha of Middletown, RI, twp nephews, one niece, one great nephew, three great nieces, three aunts and one uncle. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at 8:00am from the Memorial Funeral Home 375 Broadway, Newport followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 AM in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway And Vernon Avenue, Newport. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.
