Gladys Hyland McLean, 77, of 27 Fourth Street, Attleboro, MA, died Friday, October 19, 2007, at the Heatherwood Nursing and Subacute Center, Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late Bertrand McLean.Born in Attleboro, MA, on May 29, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mildred Healy Hyland.In her youth, Mrs. McLean had worked at Bobby?s ice cream parlor in Attleboro, and for Fosters Metal Manufacturing plant for several years. She enjoyed camping, shopping, and crossword puzzles, but spent most of her time taking care of her family. She spent a great deal of time visiting her sister Jean in Middletown and going to the beach quoahogging.She is survived by her children Steven McLean and Mark McLean of Attleboro, MA, and Wayne, Donna and Tina, her brother Everett Hyland of North Attleboro, MA, two sisters Jean Sabetti of Middletown, RI, and Janice Abrams of Middleboro, MA, five grandchildren Nicholas, Shana, Maureen, Patricia, and Sharon, and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her son Bruce McLean her grandson Kyle McLean, her brother Earl Hyland, and her sisters Rose Mutlow, Ann Rivet, and Virginia Ducharme.
