Middletown, - Gloria Diane Adams Warren, 71, of Forest Farm Assisted Living Facility, 201 Forest Avenue, Middletown, formerly of Earl Avenue, Newport, died Thursday, June 19, 2003 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late Samuel Atkinson Warren II. Born in Newark, NJ on September 14, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Walter Bae and Anna Kucinski Warren. Mrs. Warren was a certified nursing assistant at the St. Clare Home for 15 years, retiring in 1987. She also worked as a hairdresser at Michaels Salon in Newport for many years. As a young woman she served as a Salvation Army Soldier. She attended Salve Regina College and was a communicant of St. Josephs Church. Mrs. Warren was very active in the Forest Farm Assisted Living Residents Counsel. She is survived by three sons Theodore Rose of Seattle, WA, Samuel A. Warren III of Stuart, FL, and David B. Warren of Newport, RI, two brothers Walter Adams of Ritchie, FL, and John Adams of Highland, NJ, her sister Joan Decara of Williams, OR, and four grandchildren.Her funeral will be held on Monday, June 23, 2003, at 8:00 AM from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 AM in St. Josephs Church, Broadway and Mann Avenue, Newport. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown. Donations in her memory may be made to the St. Clare Home, 309 Spring Street, Newport, RI 02840.
