Grace Holland

Middletown, RI - Grace Louise Holland, 88, of Blenheim Newport, Middletown, RI, formerly of 40 Goat Island, died Friday, September 14, 2007 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. Born in Woonsocket, RI on February 4, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Harry H. and Edith White Holland.Ms. Holland was a secretary for Gustave White Insurance for 23 years, retiring in 1985. During World War II, she worked on the Naval Base in Navy Purchasing and the post office. She is survived by cousins Mabel Driscoll of Braintree, MA, Irving White of Hingham, MA, Thelma Doucette of Bridgewater, MA and Ann Tanzi of Vernon, CT. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at 10:00 am in St. Josephs Church, Broadway And Mann Avenue, Newport. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, 454 Nashua Street, Milford, NH.
