Grace M. Templeton

Grace M. (Morgan) Templeton, 96, of Middletown, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Forest Farm Health Care Center in Middletown. She was the wife of the late James Templeton. Born on May 28, 1916 in Dayton, TN, she was the daughter of the late Craig and Susan Morgan. Mrs. Templeton loved country music, especially Dolly Parton and Vince Gill. She was very devoted to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children, James Templeton of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, Sandra Garrison of Dayton, TN and Diane Acton of North Kingstown, RI; her sister, Euva Roddy of Kingston, TN; two grandchildren, Seth Acton of Charlestown, RI and Jesse Acton of Nashville, TN; and two great-grandchildren, Miriam and Ezri.Her funeral service will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 11 am in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Visitation with the family will be held from 9 - 11 am in the funeral home just prior to the service. Burial will follow in Newport Memorial Park, Middletown.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Potter League for Animals, PO Box 412, Newport, RI 02840.
