Gregory John Conos

Middletown, RI - Gregory John Conos, 83, of 333 Green End Avenue, Middletown, RI, formerly of 1 Mount Hope View Road, Portsmouth, RI, died Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at Grand Islander Health Care Center, Middletown, RI. He was the former husband of Rose Marie Morin. Born in Fall River, MA, on March 20, 1923, he was the son of the late John and Mary Philipakopoulos Conos.Mr. Conos was a veteran of the United States Army during WWII. He was half owner and operator of Famous Pizza in Somerset, MA. He enjoyed nothing more then his home, family and going for a swim in front of his house. He is survived by his son Dean Adam Conos of Leonard, NJ, his daughters Johanna Conos of Portsmouth, RI, and Rebecca Conos of Tiverton, RI, his grandson Cody Mailloux of Portsmouth, RI, and his niece and nephew. He was the brother of the late Stephen Conos. Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are by Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.
