Gustav Larson

Middletown, - Gustav Larson, 65, of 1 Admiral Court Middletown, died Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. He was the husband of Linda Sullivan Larson. Born in Heniker, NH on June 28, 1939, he was the son of the late Gustav Larson and Helen V. Shaffell Larson. Mr. Larson worked for the State of Rhode Island as a foreman for eighteen years, prior to that he had been an independent lobsterman. He also had done snowplowing, he was a 1956 graduate of Da Lasalle, a member of the Knights of Columbus and Saint Lucys Church, Middletown He is survived by his wife Linda Larson of Middletown, RI, one stepdaughter Nancy Lewandowski of Manchester, NH, one stepgranddaughter Sarah Shipman of Mancheester, New Hampshire and one stepgrandson Nate Shipman of Manchester, New Hampshire. His funeral will be held Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004 at 11:00am in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in Saint Columba Cemetry, Middletown, R.I.
