Harry Constantine Koulouvardis passed away June 15, 2012 at age 56. Harry was born in Newport on December 4, 1955, son of the late Constantine and Lola (Rozes) Koulouvardis and brother of the late Helen (Koulouvardis) Nelson. Harry graduated from Rogers High School in 1978 and Providence College in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. He was the owner of the iconic C. H. Charles five-and-dime stores on Williams St. and Broadway in Newport.Harry was an active member of Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church where he served as a council member for many years. He was also active in the AHEPA, Lions Club, and a treasurer of the Salvation Army.An avid fan of the theater, Harry enjoyed miniature golf, bowling, basketball, and football with his family. He was a passionate fan of the Boston Red Sox.Harry is survived by his children Christopher and Katina and their mother Antigone. He was the loving father to the late Theodore. Surviving relatives include his uncle, George Koulouvardis, his aunt, Joan Rozes, his niece, Melissa (Nelson) Pinheiro of Newport, and cousins Chris Tsokos, James, Komes, Renee, and George Rozes.The wake will be Tuesday, June 19th from 4 to 7 pm at the Memorial Funeral Home on Broadway in Newport. The funeral service will be Wednesday, June 20th at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Newport.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, P.O.
