Helen B. Cellemme

Tiverton, RI - Helen B. DiCarlo Cellemme, 95, of Tiverton, RI, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at home with her family. She was the wife of the late Paul Cellemme. Born in Fall River, MA on September 29, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Filomena Bruno DiCarlo.Mrs. Cellemme retired from Peoples Bank in Providence, RI. She is survived by her son Paul Cellemme and his wife Carrie of Tiverton, RI, her daughter Carole L. Doughty and her husband Royal of East Wakefield, NH, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.She was the sister of the late John DiCarlo and Mary Grillo. Helen Cellemme was a loving matriarch, bowler extraordinaire, world traveller, purveyor of Italian American Cuisine, operatic soprano who loved the finer, simpler things. She gratefully awaited the arrival of each spring; her world was full of beauty and joy. She passed peacefully and brings her grace from this world to the next. A memorial service will be held on Sunday July 6, 2008, at 2pm at Amicable Congregational Church, 3736 Main Road, Tiverton, RI.
