MIDDLETOWN, RI ? H. Louise Coots Hall, 95, of Portsmouth, RI, died Saturday, November 19, 2005 at Blenheim Newport in Middletown, RI. She was the wife of the late William A. Hall. Born in Mattapan, Massachusetts on August 4, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Henry R. and Edith Cousins Coots. For most of her adult life, she lived in the Springfield, PA area where her husband was a chemical engineer with Atlantic Ritchfield, now ARCO. Early in her adult life she completed a teacher?s education program at what is now known as Wheelock College. Mrs. Hall was a member of the Portsmouth Historical Society and was active in helping with many of their programs. She was also a member of the Portsmouth United Methodist Church where she had been a very active member of the Festival Committee. She is survived by her children John A. Hall of Rochester, MA, Bruce T. Hall of West Groton, MA, and Margaret L. Hall of Boston, MA, ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband and son Robert W. Hall, of Bromall, PA.
