Newport, RI - Helen Marie Carreiro McPhee, 86, of 53 Gould Street, Newport, RI, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the Heatherwood Nursing and Subacute Center, Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late Arthur Joseph ?Mac? McPhee. Born in Portsmouth, RI, on September 4, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John and Evelyn Bratton Carreiro.Mrs. McPhee was a former member of St. Josephs Church.She is survived by two sons Brian Segerson of Newport, RI, and Michael McPhee of Los Angles, CA, a daughter Bonnie Ainsley of Winterville, NC, three grandchildren Jason Ainsley of Ashville, NC, Ryan Ainsley of Greenville, NC, and Kevin Ainsley of Greenville, NC. She was also the sister of the late Ernest James Carriero, Emma Livingston Bettencourt, Florence Tribsico, and Josephine Raposa.A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at the Heatherwood Health Care Center, Newport.
