PORTSMOUTH, RI ? Henry ?Hank? A. Bruneau, 71, of 53 Green Street, Portsmouth, RI died Thursday, April 21, 2005at home. He was the husband of Madelyn ?Sandy? Bruneau. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts on April 15, 1934, he was the son of the late Henry and Donalda Lafreniere Bruneau.Henry served in the United States Marine Corps, during the Korean War. He retired from the Portsmouth Public School Department, as a custodian. Hank was a lifetime member of the Seaconnet Fishing Club. He loved his family, gardening, fishing and was also an avid reader. Besides his wife of he is survived by his sons Robert Singleton of Portsmouth, RI and Matthew Bruneau of Newport, RI, three grandchildren, and his sisters Doris Sinclair of Connecticut and Jacqueline Kershaw of Swansea, MA. His funeral will be held on Monday, April 25, 2005, at 9:00 AM from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River.Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2005, from 2-5pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in Henrys name may be made to St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871 or to Hospice Outreach, 502 Bedford Street, Fall River, MA 02721.
