Irene Rose Clark

Portsmouth, RI - Irene Rose Pinky Clark, 58, of Windward Drive, Portsmouth, RI, formerly of Riverside Street, Portsmouth, passed away after a brief illness on October 27, 2009. She was surrounded by her loving family. Born in Newport, RI on April 4, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Irene Reed Papineau.Pinky took pride in spending her days providing childcare for family members children in a loving, caring, family environment. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Cafferty, son in law Tristan Cafferty, grandson Aidan Z. Cafferty, granddaughter Ailish Rose Cafferty, daughter Andrea Lynn Clark, all of Portsmouth, RI, many brothers and sisters: Walter Papineau of Tiverton, Albert Papineau of Portsmouth, George Papineau of Tiverton,, Marion Papineau of Foster, Barbara ODonnell of Tiverton, Regina Lapointe of Tiverton, Judy Papineau of Newport, Crystal Silvia of Tiverton, as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009, at 11:00 am in Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth.Burial will be private.Calling hours will be held Thursday, October 29, 2009, from 4:00-7:00pm in the Connors Funeral Home.
