Iris Marion Riethle

MIDDLETOWN, RI - Iris Marion Sullivan Riethle, 80, of Forest Farm Health Care Center, Middletown, RI formerly of Jude Street, Middletown, RI, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2005, at Forest Farm Health Care Center, Middletown, RI. She was the wife of the late William Edward Riethle. Born in Mt. Clemens, MI on October 30, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Grover and Dora Downing Sullivan. Iris worked as a medical secretary in various hospitals all over the country for 50 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of United Congregational Church in Middletown. She is survived by her children William E. Riethle of Marlborough, MA, Gary S. Riethle of Pawcatuk, CT, Ronald M. Riethle of Ware, MA, and Linda A. Lannie of Bristol, RI, her siblings Dean Sullivan and Jewel Williams both of San Diego, CA, and Joanna Kinsolving of Seattle, WA, her grandchildren Jennifer Lannie, Erik Riethle, Michael Lannie, Case Riethle, Ryan Riethle, Taylor Riethle and Caroline Riethle and two great grandchildren.Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at 11:00 AM in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.Calling hours will be held the morning of her funeral from 10:00am - 11:00am in the funeral home.
