Irma G. Friend

Newport, RI - Irma G. Christiansen Friend, 75, of 139 Coggeshall Avenue Newport, died Friday, February 13, 2004 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.She was the wife of Thomas W. Friend. Born in Newport, RI on October 15, 1928, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Doris Cartensen Christiansen. Mrs. Friend worked as a cosmetician for the former Cherry Webb Company. She also worked for the former William Leys Century Store. Besides her husband she leaves a son Thomas ?Tim? W. Friend Jr. of Newport, RI, her daughter Dianne Graeber of Rehoboth, MA, a brother Robert Christiansen of Cherry Hill, NJ, and two grandsons.She was the sister of the late William A. Christiansen. Funeral services will be private.
