Isabelle Marie Caputi

Middletown, RI - Isabelle Marie Allain Caputi, formerly of 440 Broadway and 89 Gibbs Avenue, Newport, RI, died Monday, November 6, 2006 at Forest Farm Health Care Center, Middletown, RI. She was the wife of the late Giancinto ?James? Caputi. Born in Brittany, France, on October 11, 1909. Mrs. Caputi worked for the Rolling Library for the Mosaic Club at the Newport Hospital and also volunteered for the Newport Hospital Auxiliary for many hours. She was a communicant of St. Joseph?s Church for over 75 years. Mrs. Caputi loved cooking and gardening. She is survived by her son Dr. Anthony A.Caputi and his wife Nona Tameleo of Newport, RI, her grandson Anthony A. Caputi Jr. of Baltimore, MD, her granddaughter Staci Bergmann of Hopkinton, MA, and her great grandchildren Charles T. Bergmann, Kendall C. Bergmann and Elise T. Bergmann all of Hopkinton, MA. Her funeral will be held on Friday, November 10, 2006, at 9:00am, from the Hambly Funeral Home, ?Brick House? 30 Red Cross Avenue, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am, in St. Josephs Church, Broadway And Mann Avenue, Newport. Burial will be in St. Columbas Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2006, from 3-7pm in the Hambly Funeral Home.
