Middletown, RI - Isabelle Silvia, 96, of Grand Islander Health Care Center, Middletown, RI, died Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late William Francis Silvia, Sr. Born in South Dartmouth, MA on October 31, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Leal Oliver.Mrs. Silvia was a communicant of Jesus Saviour Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, making puzzles, reading and dancing with her husband. She always made herself readily available to fulfill her family?s needs. She was the beloved mother of Henry Lee Silvia of Busch, LA and Donald Gregory Silvia of Auburndale, FL, and her daughter Rosemary Silvia of Middletown, RI. She was the devoted grandmother of eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.She was also mother of the late William Francis Silvia, Jr., and Francis James Silvia, and the sister of the late Joseph Oliver, Antone Oliver, Flora Perreira, Rosy Sylvia, Agnes Botacio, Mary Arruda, Lena Arruda and Delina Viveiros. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2010, from 4-7 in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.Her funeral will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010, at 10:00am from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway and Vernon Avenue, Newport.Burial will be in St. Columbas Cemetery in Middletown.
