Jack V. Robinson

Lt. CMDR Jack V. Robinson Ret. USN Middletown, RI - Jack V. Robinson, 75, of 2 Winthrop Drive, Middletown, RI, died Sunday, January 14, 2007, at the RI Veterans Home in Bristol, RI. He was the husband of Nancy Shilling Robinson. Born in Dundolk, MD, on February 7, 1931, he was the son of the late Paul Robinson and Ruth Heller Robinson.He served in the U.S. Navy for twenty-six years, lastly serving in the Medical Service Corps, as AO of a MUST unit based out of Camp Lejeune, NC. After his naval career, he worked at Newport Hospital for nine years, then for several years at Sears in Middletown. He was a member of the North End Club, the VFW, the Masons Lodge, and a former member of Wanumetonomy Country Club. Besides his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Bonnie Kuettner of Phoenix, AZ, Katherine White of Greenbackville, VA, Jennifer Robinson of Bradenton, FL, and Jacqueline Robinson of Newport, RI, and nine grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Valerie Robinson, and his sister, Jean Waite.His funeral services will be private.
