Jacqueline Denise Carter

Providence, RI - Jacqueline Denise Carter, 48, of Providence, RI, died Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at her friends home in Newport, RI. She was the wife of William Carter. Born in Norfolk, VA on September 25, 1961, she was the daughter of Joyce Tyree Green of Norfolk, VA and the late Roy Carson.Jacqueline worked as a health benefits advisor at the Newport Navy Base.She is survived by her daughter Nicole Carson of Providence, and three sons Steven Burley and Kenneth Carson, both of Newport, RI, and Robert Carson of Chepachet, RI, and 12 grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters Lawrence Carson, Antonio Carson, Leonard Tyree, Carson, Milton Green III, Joanna Kidd, Thomasena Harden, Barbara Ann Speller, Ann Marie Buford, Stephanie Robinson, Julie Martinez, and Gaynell Mattison. Jacqueline also leaves a host of other relatives. Calling hours will be held Thursday, September 9, 2010, from 12-1 followed by a service at 1 in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
