Jacqueline Muri

Newport, - Jacqueline ?Jackie? Muri, of Village House, Harrison Avenue Newport, formerly of Cranston, RI, died Monday, February 17, 2003 at the Village House Nursing Center. Born in Biddeford, Maine on February 24, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Antoinette Belanger Perron. Mrs. Muri was past president of the tenant?s organization at Scituate Vista in Cranston and a member of the Mayor?s advisory committee on senior citizens affairs. She was also a member of the Alpine Country Club in Cranston where she was past president of the Ladies Auxillary. She was president of the Mothers Guild at St. Marys Academy, Bay View from 1963 to 1964. She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Muri of Middletown, RI, and her son Anthony Muri of Barrington, RI, four Grandchildren and one Great Grandaughter.She was the sister of the late Albert, Lucien and Renald ?Ray? Perron. Burial will be in St. Anne?s Cemetery in Cranston, Rhode Island. Services will be private.
