Jacquelyn C. Harris-Sirr

Middletown - Jacquelyn C. Harris-Sirr, 42, of 5 Osage Drive Middletown, died Saturday, May 31, 2003 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. She was the wife of Christopher B. Sirr. Born in Newport, RI on July 22, 1960, she was a daughter Lorraine Grande Harris-Valcourt of Middletown and the late Lloyd J. Harris Jr. Mrs. Harris-Sirr was a 1978 graduate of Middletown High School and a 1982 graduate of the Newport Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse at the hospital for 17 years, before retiring due to illness.She was a communicant of St. Lucys Church, Middletown, where she was active with the Circle of Friends. She was also a volunteer for the Amercan Red Cross and was a hospice volunteer. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by two teenage sons, Christopher C. Sirr and Jonathan B.A. Sirr both at home; one brother, Lloyd Jerry Harris III of Middletown, RI; one sister, Suzann Harris of Middletown, RI; 6 Nieces and 2 Nephews.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, June 4, at 10:30am, at St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown. Burial will be private. Donations may be made in her memory to American Cancer Society, 222 Richmond Street, Suite 200, Providence, RI 02903-4253.
