Tiverton, RI - Jacquiline Carlotta Clark, 85, of Tiverton, died Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Grand Islander Health Care Center Middletown, RI. Born in Newport, RI on March 25, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Earl Clark and Frances (McKenna) Clark. Jacquiline worked for many years as a social worker for the state of Rhode Island. She grew up in Jamestown, living in "The Round House", before settling in Tiverton. She received a Bachelor's degree from Boston University and a Master's degree from Salve Regina in Social Work. Jaqui loved reading the NY Times and the New Yorker, was an avid gardener and preservationist of local history. She actually restored her own Tiverton home herself. She was also particularly proud of her sailing heritage and enjoyed looking back on the times she was able to take to the sea herself. She is survived by her brother Francis Clark of Jamestown, RI, and her sister Judith Reiber of Madison, CT.She was predeceased by her brother Robert Clark and her sisters Elizabeth Clark and Mary Ellen Clark. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at 10:00am in the Holy Ghost Church, 316 Judson Street, Tiverton, RI.
