James Alvin Miles

Newport, - James Alvin Miles, 43, of 163 Third Street Newport, formerly of Hartford, CT, died Friday, February 28, 2003 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. Born in Groton, CT on March 8, 1959, he was the son of the late Alvin William and Mae Garlonsky Miles.Mr. Miles worked as an attendant for the Stop and Shop Supermarket. He is survived by two brothers Daniel W. Miles of Gales Ferry, CT, and Richard E. Miles of Plantsville, CT, his sister Linda D. Ramey of Newport, RI, four nephews and one niece. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.
