James Riley

Newport, RI - James Diamond Jim C. Riley, 68, of 87 Girard Avenue, Newport, RI, died Monday, July 28, 2008 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. Born in Newport, RI on December 12, 1939, he was the son of the late James and Irene Limky Riley.Mr. Riley was a truck driver for the former Safeway Systems for 35 years, retiring in 1993. He also drove for Cozy Cab. Mr. Riley was a member of the Fleet Reserve Branch #19 and was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his sons James M. Riley of Middletown, RI and Sean P. Riley of Portsmouth, RI, and his daughters Sheila Lavault of Newport, RI, Colleen Medeiros of Westport, MA and Sharon Riley of Portsmouth, RI.
