Middletown, RI - James Robert Dewick, Jr., 54, of 1722 West Main Road, Middletown, RI, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 11, 2011, at home.Born in Bronx, NY, on January 1, 1957, he was the son of the James Robert Dewick, Sr. and the late Mary Doody Dewick.Jim owned and operated his own construction company for several years. He loved fishing, wildlife, history, anthropology, and genealogy. He was an avid sports fan, especially the New York Yankees.He is survived by his wife, Cathleen Quinn of Kew Gardens, NY, his sister Jo-Ann B. Kery and her husband Sean of Owings, MD, two sons Thomas Dewick and Matthew Dewick of Kew Gardens, NY, and several nieces and nephews; Rachel Kery of Boston, MA, Mary Beth Kery of Owings, MD, Caroline Kery of Owings, MD, John Kery of Owings, MD, Claudia Frees of Harriman, New York, Meghan Cassidy of Brewster, New York, James Quinn of Hicksville, NY and Sean Quinn of Long Beach, NY. His funeral will be held on Friday, February 18, 2011, at 9:00AM, in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown, RI.
