James Shough

James Shough, 53, of Middletown died Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at Newport Hospital.Mr. Shough was born March 27, 1963, in Newport, RI, the son of Arthur and Lillian (Costa) Curt.James played football and baseball for Thompson Junior High.Besides his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Christine Terpening of Tiverton, RI, Linda O'Brien and Brenda Curt both from Newport, RI, Cheryl Vieth of CA, Debrina Heup, and his brother Arthur Shough of Newport, and he leaves behind many nieces and nephews.He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, John and Margaret Costa, his brother Ronald Heup, his sister Rosemary Heup and his paternal grandparents Mary and August Curt.His burial will take place on Friday, October 28, 2016, at 11:00am, in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Greenwich, RI.In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Newport County Mental Health, Valley Road, Middletown, RI 02842.
