Jane R. Rodericks

Newport, RI - Jane R. Rodericks, 65, of 36 Dudley Avenue, Newport, RI, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. She was the wife of Joseph A. Rodericks. Born in Newport, RI, on September 11, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Albert J. Roderick and Martha E. Treat Perry.Mrs. Rodericks was a beloved wife and mother. She was a homemaker for many years. Jane loved country western music and exploring Scenic Newport and the Ocean Drive. Besides her husband of 44 years, she is survived by her son Joseph A. Rodericks and his wife Laurie Barlow Rodericks of Newport, RI, her daughter Joanne Jannitto and her husband Peter L. Jannitto of Warren, RI, her brother Albert J. Roderick of Katy, TX, and her sister Nancy Locke of Middletown, RI. A Memorial serivce will be held on Monday, June 26, at 6:00p.m. in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be private. At the request of the family, because of the care, respect and professionalism given to Mrs. Rodericks by the Newport Fire Department, in lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Newport Rescue Wagon Fund, 21 W.
