Janet F. Gamicchia

Middletown, RI - Janet Fernandez Gamicchia, 46, of 406 Semmes Street, Middletown, RI, died Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI. She was the wife of Lt. Raymond John Gamicchia, USN. Born in San Miguel, Bulacan the Philippines on January 29, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Jorge Torres and Lourdes Sonza Fernandez of the Philippines.She called many cities around the country home, and had close friends everywhere. Once Janet called you a friend, you had a friend for life who would open up her heart and home to you. She dedicated her life to her family and never found a person that didnt love her.Besides her husband of 12 years, she is survived by her brothers Jorge Sonza Fernandez, Joel Sonza Fernandez, Jonas Sonza Fernandez and Val Sonza Fernandez all of the Philippines and her sisters Josie Fernandez Bernabe and Agnes Sonza Fernandez of the Philippines and Rowena Fernandez DeDios of California. Memorial services will be held at a later date in both Michigan and the Philippines.Burial will be in Bulacan, Bulacan, Philippines.
