Janet Walden

Middletown, RI - Janet Auditore Walden, 60, of Rogers Lane, Middletown, RI, died on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at the St. Clare Home in Newport.She was the wife of William David Walden. Born in Boston, MA on October 30, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret Horan Auditore.Mrs. Walden served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era. She worked as a cashier for five years at Wal-Mart and was a communicant of St. Lucys Church. Besides her husband of 40 years, she is survived by her sons William David Walden, Jr. of Portsmouth, RI, Sean David Walden of Middletown, RI and Troy Michael Walden of Newport, RI, her grandchildren, Katelyn and Elizabeth Walden of Warwick, RI and Shayla and Anthony Walden of Warren, RI, her sister Marie Auditore of Middletown, RI, her aunts Nancy Vancamp and Joann Gringeri and her uncle Peter Auditore all of Foxboro, MA. Her service will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 11am in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.Burial will be Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, South County Trail, Exeter, RI.
