Janete Oliveira Lima

Janete Oliveira Lima, 46, of Newport, RI, died at Rhode Island Hospital on Monday, April 18, 2011.Janete was a 1982 graduate of Bishop Stang High School and attended UMass Dartmouth. She was a licensed travel agent at the family business, Sagres Travel. She was a certified lifeguard and realtor. She loved music and played the accordion. She was a 3rd degree black belt in Karate. She also loved to travel and was active in political events. She had a love for life and will be missed immensely by everyone she touched.She is survived by her parents, Olga Oliveira Lima and Eduardo Lima; her sisters, Ruth Lima, Marilia Lima, Lisa Lima and Sonia Lima; and her brother, Edward Lima, Jr.Funeral services will be private.
