Jean Elaine Gauld

Middletown, RI - Jean Elaine Spath Gauld, 69, of 60 Rogers Lane, Middletown, RI, formerly of Niantic, CT, died Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Heatherwood Nursing and Subacute Center, Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late Frank Gauld. Born in New London, CT on March 27, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Hudson and Ernestine Skinner Spath.Mrs. Gauld was a cashier at Wal-Mart in Putnam, CT for ten years, retiring in 2006. She was a member and past president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Gauld enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandson. She is survived by her son George King and his wife Heidi of Lebanon, CT, her daughter Katherine Sleeper and her husband Donald of Middletown, RI, her brother Buzz Spath of High Springs, FL, her sister Ann Beggs of Niantic, CT, her grandchildren Faith Sleeper of Middletown, RI, and Grandson Patrick Sleeper of Providence, RI, her great grandson Jason Sleeper of Middletown, RI and several nieces and nephews.
