Jean Frances Alvernas

Portsmouth, RI - Jean Frances Rounds Alvernas, 63, of 84 Flint Corn Road Portsmouth, died Saturday, January 22, 2005 at home.She was the wife of the late Manuel A. Alvernas. Born in Newport, RI on December 26, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Karlton and Beatrice Seabury Rounds. Mrs. Alvernas was an avid sports fan and NASCAR racing fan. She is survived by her son Manuel ?Buddy? Alvernas Jr. of Middletown, RI, two daughters Julie Alvernas of Middletown, RI, and Lisa Andrade of Portsmouth, RI, her grandson Eric Andrade of Portsmouth, RI, two sisters Patricia McCoy of Portsmouth, RI, and Carol Ann Sinclair of Bristol, RI, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 28, 2005, at 7:00 PM in Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Rte. 114, Portsmouth. Burial will be held at a later date in Pleasant View Cemetery, Old Stone Church Road, Tiverton, RI.
