Jean-Marie Engstrume

Jean-Marie (Perrello) Engstrume, 69, passed away April 17, 2016. She was the wife of the late Patrick Engstrume. Jeannie was born in Boston, MA. As a daughter of a Navy Lifer, she lived in Massachusetts, California, Japan, the territory of Hawaii, and Italy before moving to Newport in 1959. She graduated from Rogers High School in 1965. She was a hairdresser, a housekeeper for Salve Regina College, an assistant for Dr. Kehoe and a bakery clerk for Clements Market. Jean-Marie was the daughter of Robert J. Perrello and the late Helen G. (Buckley) Perrello. She is survived by her beloved dog Lovi and her sisters; Kathie Goncalo of MA, Roberta Shaw and her husband Stephen of RI and Elena Perrello and her husband Gary Eckmann of Maine. She will be missed by her nieces Erica Goncalo of MA, Lauren Nelson and her husband Arik of CA, Chelsea Quaglia of TN and her nephews Justin Shaw of RI and Casey Quaglia of CO.
