Southern Pines, - Jeanie Grey Rider Peckham, 67, of Southern Pines, NC, formerly of Newport, RI, died Sunday, February 2, 2003 at St. Peters Nursing Home, Southern Pines, NC.She was the wife of Donald S. Peckham of Southern Pines, NC. Born in Akron, OH on June 19, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Theodore H.aand Edna Mague Rider.Mrs. Peckham who attended Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, MA was Fianance Manager and rising Controller of the Florida Bankers Asocation FBA, Orlando, FL, Prior to the FBA, Mrs. Peckham had been a Management Accountant with Calso Corp, Mountain View, Cal, and Intel Corp., Los Altos, CA. Mrs. Peckham was an officer of a small Los Angeles electronics development company which developed produced and brought to market the first digital multi-meter. Besides her husband she leaves three stepchildren, Geoffrey H. Peckham of Hyattsville, MD, David H. Peckham of Irvine, CA, and Margaret P. Tolbert of Urbana, MD, her brother Theodore H. Rider of Bedford, MA, six step grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.She was the sister of the late Michael G. RiderA Memorial service and burial will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2003, at 2:00 PM in Middletown Cemetery, Corner Of Turner And Wyatt Roads, Middletown.
