Newport, - Jeanne L. Larson Winslow, 74, of 34 Mann Avenue Newport, died Friday, March 28, 2003 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late George H. Winslow II, retired Navy Commander. Born in Chicago, IL on January 22, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Robert G. Larson and Florence M. Wolff Larson.Mrs. Winslow was a 1947 graduate of Amundsen High School and attended the University of Colorado, in Boulder, CO. She was a member of the New York Yacht Club. She was a homemaker and a supportive Navy wife, living in homes throughout the United States before retiring in Newport in 1976. She is survived by two sons Robert S. Winslow of Newport, RI, and George H. Winslow III of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, two daughters Christine M. Winslow of Newport, RI, and Caroline W. McCarthy of Portsmouth, RI, and six grandchildren. Her funeral and burial will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to the Visiting Nurse Services of Newport Bristol Cos, 1184 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
