Jeannette Y. Pennachi

Newport, RI - Jeannette Y. Clement Pennachi, 87, of 49 Connection Street Newport, died Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late Dominic L. Pennachi. Born in Newport, RI on July 5, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse A. and Julie Tetreault Clement. Mrs. Pennachi worked for the former Lincoln Store on Thames Street for many years and then worked as a domestic for several Newport Families. She was an avid Geneology researcher. She is survived by her son George L. Pennachi of Kissimmee, FL, her daughter Vivian J. Viti of Newport, RI, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.She was the sister of the late Alphonse Clement, George Clement and Loretta Sears. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2005, at 8:00AM from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 AM in St. Augustins Church, Carroll Avenue, Newport. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown. Donations in her memory may be made to the Newport Fire Department and Rescue Wagon Fund, 21 W. Marlborough Street, Newport, RI 02840.
