Jeffrey Belli

Born on November 23, 1973, Jeffrey was the son of Mary Cecilia (Moitozo) and Joseph A. Belli of Middletown. He is survived by his parents, his niece Madison Rose Belli of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and sister-in-law Melissa and her husband Steven Breth of Lakewood, New York.

He was predeceased by his brother, Captain Stephen J. Belli, U.S. Army in 2003.

A 1993 graduate of Middletown High School, Jeff attended New England Technical Institute where he received an Associate of Science Degree in Automotive Technology in 1996. He went on to work at Saccucci Lincoln Mercury in Middletown and Paul Bailey Ford in Warwick.

Following in his brother's footsteps, Jeff proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1997-2007 as an Aircraft Armament Missile System Repairer. He completed several deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant.

He returned to Middletown and worked as an electrician for Toner Electric Company. He

worked side by side with his childhood friends, Frank and Scott Toner, until his passing.

Besides spending time with niece Maddie and his lifelong Wabasso Terrace friends, Jeff loved being with his dog Iris, his loyal companion of many years. Jeff enjoyed working on cars, four wheeling, a cold beer with friends, and attending his yearly reunion with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He was a loving son dedicated to the care of his parents.

His niece Maddie, family, and close friends will miss his spirit, kind heart, and booming

expressions.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 2:00-4:00pm at Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 28 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Lucy's Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown.

Burial with Military Honors will immediately follow at St. Columba Catholic Cemetery, 465 Brown's Ln., Middletown.
