Jennifer Saba

April 22, 1972 — December 14, 2024

Jennifer M. Saba, 52, of New York, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of Marlene Leatherbee of Newport and West Palm Beach, FL and the late George Saba. Jennifer Saba, who was a unique, incredible, bright, curious, woman, who could hold her own in any given situation. Well educated, well read, wanting to always learn more.

Jen had an exotic look, though petit in stature, she had an incredible presence. From her stunning hair, her fiery mesmerizing eyes, exquisite hands. She was known for her fabulous outfits for any occasion.

Jennifer worked in the therapy and hospice fields for many years. Lucky and blessed were those who were in her care. She was a wonderful listener who was engaged and cared so much for people in general. Ironically, she was incredibly private, sharing her own struggles regarding her health and chronic pain.

Jen loved animals, dogs in particular. Her Raul was her "best friend" for many years. When she decided to save a dog, it would always be the most challenging pet. She will be remembered for her wit and patriotism.

Jen loved her family; she leaves her mother Marlene Leatherbee, her partner Frederick J. Evicci, and her brothers, Curt Leatherbee (Barbara), Matthew Leatherbee, Bradford Leatherbee (Pamela), and Jay Schorel (Paula), and a sister Linda McKenna (Tim).

Jen was the niece of Frank Baker (Doris), John Baker (partner Helen) and Mei Li. She was a loving cousin and aunt to many family members.  She was preceded in death by her step-father Bill Leatherbee.
