Jo-Ann Waterman

Newport, RI - Jo-Ann Perlingieri Waterman, 62, of 8 Lowndes Street, Newport, RI, died Monday, July 16, 2007 at home. Born in Newport, RI on May 29, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Michael M. and Norma Ferraro Perlingieri.Mrs. Waterman was a 1963 graduate of Rogers High School. She worked at Newport Prescription Center. Prior to working at Newport Prescription she was a licensed hair dresser in Massachusetts were she worked as a young woman. She was a communicant of St. Lucys Church. Jo-Ann was an avid bridge player and enjoyed playing cards, going to dinner with her friends. She is survived by her brother Michael Perlingieri of Reno, NV, her sister Marian Ellefson of Bismarck, ND, her nieces Michelle Ellefson of Richmond, VA, Beckie Bottjer of Chandler, AZ, Barbara Niemeyer of Lonsdale, MT and Margie Lindemann of Enderlin, ND, her nephew David Ellefson of Hutchinson, MI, eight great nieces and nephews, three great great nieces and nephews and her cat ?Kellie? her constant companion. Her funeral will be held on Friday, July 20, 2007, at 11:00am in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be private.Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 19, 2007, from 7-9pm in the funeral home.
