Joann K. Reddington

NEWPORT, RI - JoAnn Kusic Reddington, 67, of 70 Carroll Avenue, Newport, RI, died Thursday, September 8, 2005, at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. She was the wife of Joseph T. Reddington. Born in McKeesport, PA on June 10, 1938, she was the daughter of Samuel J. and Patricia Blaine Kusic of McKessport, PA. Mrs. Reddington attended Averett College in Danville, VA, graduating with the class of 1958, receiving her A.S. Degree in Retail Merchandising, she also attended RISD for continuing education courses in Interior Design. She currently worked for the Preservation Society of Newport as the manager of their warehouse and distribution center for four years. She was a managing partner in the sales agency for Accessory People Unlimited for 20 years.JoAnn enjoyed gardening, walking, yoga and interior design. Besides her husband of 45 years and her parents she is survived by her daughter Melissa B. Reddington of Philadelphia, PA, her siblings Samuel J. Kusic Jr. of Greensburg, PA, Daniel D. Kusic of White Oak, PA, Gregor B. Kusic of McKeesport, PA, Joyce Allphin of Jamestown, RI, Patricia M. Kusic of Pittsburgh, PA, Carole Dooley of Charleston, SC, Laureen Kusic of Newport, RI, Deborah OShea of Martinsburg, WVA, Kimberly Kusic of Foxboro, MA, Lindsey Kusic of Portsmouth, RI, and Cynthia Doolittle of McKeesport, PA. Funeral services and burial are private.
