Johanna Bialogrzywy Zieniuk, 90, of St. Clare Home, Newport, RI, formerly of Clark, NJ and Lady Lake, FL, died Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at St. Clare Home, Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late Benjamin K. Zieniuk. Born in Bayonne, NJ on April 24, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Catherine Jacakovitch Bialogrzywy.Mrs. Zieniuk worked for Lipton Tea for 40 years, retiring in 1988. After retirement ?Jean? as she liked to be called, and her husband moved to Lady Lake, FL. After her husband?s death she moved to Rhode Island to be closer to her family. In the past several years she resided at Forest Farm Assisted Living and St. Clare Home where she enjoyed any activity that was fun and involved being with other people. Jean loved music dancing parties and laughter. She was caring and kind as well as never being shy about speaking up when she saw an injusitice. Her life exemplified love for others and especially her family. She is survived by her sister Alice Hurlburt and her husband James of Chula Vista, CA, her nephews Robert Hurlburt and Dennis Hurlburt of Mammouth Lakes, CA and her niece Gerrie Beebe and her husband Bob of Portsmouth, RI, her great nephews David Beebe and his wife Trina of Middletown, RI, and Jonathan Beebe of Pawtucket, RI and her great nieces Chris Higgins and her husband Brian of Portsmouth, RI and Allison Relle and her husband Bill of Fairbanks, Alaska. She was the sister of the late Stanley Bialogrzywy.Her funeral will be held on Monday, September 4, 2006, at 9:00 a.m. in St. Clare Home, 309 Spring Street, Newport. Burial will be private.Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2006, from 1-4pm in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
