Capt. John B. Bonds, Sr. of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 in Newport, Rhode Island. He was the husband of Elizabeth Beth Bonds, and father of John Bonds Jr and Margaret Podlich. Capt. Bonds was a 26 year veteran of the US Navy and was a professor at The Citadel.
