Cincinnati, OH - John Cooper Douglas, died in his sleep on August 31, 2009, at age 26, at his apartment in Newport, RI. Born in Cincinnati, OH on December 4, 1982, he was the son of Robert C. and Cynthia Bausewine Douglas.He was a graduate of Archbishop McNicholas High School and attended Ohio University School of Music. He was an accomplished pianist. Johnny was a lighthearted young man who loved his family and friends, loved music, loved his piano, and loved all manner of natural things including the familys casts and dogs. His family will remember his kind and gentle ways, his sweet smile and happy laughter. Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother Christopher Douglas and his wife Melanie and their daughter Eliana of San Francisco, his brother C. Blake Douglas and Kara Evans of Kona, Hawaii, his brother Warren G. Douglas of Cincinnati; his grandmother Jane Bausewine of Cincinnati, and his uncle George Bausewine and his wife Becky and daughter Katherine of Alexandria, LA. John is survived by his many loving friends.
