John E. Beaton

Middletown, RI - John E. Beaton, 79, of 3 Cedar Avenue, Middletown, RI, died Thursday, March 12, 2009 surrounded by his family at St. Lukes Hospital, New Bedford, MA.He was the husband of Alice Mary Paquet Beaton. Born in Lancaster, NH on May 28, 1929, he was the son of the late Phillip and Rita Newell Beaton. Mr. Beaton served in the United States Navy for 23 years, retiring as Chief. He then worked for 20 years at General Electric as a Computer Tech. Besides his wife of 56 years, he is survived by his children, John Beaton, Jr. of Gulf Port, MI
