Pinheiro Jr., 73, of 117 Park Holm, Newport died Monday October 7, 2002 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.He was the husband of Julia Frances Alexander Pinheiro.Born in Newport, RI on June 8, 1929, he was the son of the late John P. and Gertrude P. Lawton Pinheiro. Mr. Pinheiro was a Veteran of the US Army, serving during WWII and Korea for 20 years. He was a highly decorated War Veteran receiving a silver star, two bronze stars, and eight other commendations. Besides his wife, he leaves one brother Roger Pinheiro of Middletown, RI and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Harry Pinheiro, George Pinheiro, Joseph Pinheiro, Robert Pinheiro, and Gertrude Bidlack.Funeral Services and burial will be private.Arrangements by the Memorial Funeral Home, Newport, RI.
