John "Johnny O" Allen Oliveira

John Allen Oliveira, Sr., 75, of Portsmouth died Monday, November 18, 2013, at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. Born October 22, 1938 in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late John and Flora (Silvia) Oliveira.He was the husband of Regina (Woytaszek) Oliveira. Mr. Oliveira was the owner and operator of Oliveira's Garage on East Main Road in Portsmouth for 45 years. He was a lifetime member of the Sakonnet Sportsman's Club and Portuguese American Club. He was also a member of the St. John's Masonic Lodge #1 in Portsmouth. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.Besides his wife of 52 years, he is survived by his son, John A. Oliveira, Jr. of Tiverton, RI, his daughter Doreen Watson and her husband John of Bristol, RI, and three grandchildren, Johnny A. Pasyanos, Emma Watson and Chloe Watson.He was predeceased by his sister, Flora Nadeau-Brown. Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013, from 5:00-7:00pm in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth.Burial will be private.
