John L. Risso

Newport, RI - John Louis Risso, 66, of 76 Broadway, Newport, RI, died Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at Oak Hill Nursing Home, Pawtucket, RI. Born in Newport, RI on September 4, 1940, he was the son of the late Louis E. and Mary Ryan Risso. Mr. Risso was a 1958 graduate of De La Salle Academy. He worked for Raytheon in the 60?s and 70?s. He is survived by his companion Barbara Teehan of Newport, RI, his brother Thomas and his wife Barbara A. Cerra Risso of Middletown, RI, his sister Mary Lou Sperr of South Bound Brook, NY, and eight nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held on Friday, January 12, 2007, at 8:00 am from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Marys Church, Spring Street, Newport.
