John Lane Mcmahon

Portsmouth, Rhode Island - John Lane McMahon, Sr., 59, of 2651 East Main Road, Portsmouth, died Saturday, January 17, 2004 at home. Born in Newport, RI on March 15, 1944, he was the son of the late Joseph Albert McMahon and Josephine Lane McMahon. Mr. McMahon worked as a Meterials Property Manager for thirty-eight years at the Raytheon Company in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. He was a member of St. Anthonys Church, Portsmouth, R.I., the Newport Rifle Club and Ducks Unlimited Hunters and Conservation Club. He is survived by one Son John Lane McMahon Jr. of Tiverton, RI, one daughter Meredith Anne Medeiros of Tiverton, R.I, two grandsons Shane Medeiros of Tiverton, RI, Robert Medeiros of Tiverton, RI, and his companion Barbara Conroy of Portsmouth, R.I. His funeral will be held Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2004 at 9:00 AM from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, route 114 Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park, Middletown.Donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, New England Affiliate, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701-4688.
