Warren, RI - John Lee Coggeshall, 34, of 510 Child Street Warren, formerly of 72 Point Road, Portsmouth, RI, died Monday, April 5, 2004 at Rhode Island Hospital Providence, RI. Born in Fall River, MA on July 6, 1969, he was the son of Vincent Coggeshall and Betty Jean Taylor Coggeshall. Mr. Cogeshall worked for twelve years at Stop Shop Corporate Offices in Quincy, MA as a Senior Program Developer, he had also worked for Stop Shop in Middletown, RI for 5 years. A 1987 Graduate of Portsmouth High School, and a 1992 Graduate of the University of Rhode Island where he received a B.S. in Management Information Systems. He was an avid wrestling fan and was a member of the Middletown Wrestling Federation. He was known to his fellow wrestlers as Dr. Destruction. In 1989 he helped organize the Main Event, a wrestling federation of twenty members, they would put on charity shows at the YMCA, Rogers High School and the Newport Lodge of Elks. He had received numerous awards for his wrestling abilities including ?Wrestler of the Year?, ?Most Improved? and even ?Most Hated?. He enjoyed music and had played the trombone and had received many awards in High School for playing. He is survived by his parents Vincent Betty Jean Taylor Coggeshall of Portsmouth, RI, his twin brother Robert Coggeshall of Portsmouth, RI, his fianc- Jessica Anderson of Warren, R.I., and several aunts and uncles. His funeral will be held on Friday, April 9, 2004 at 11:00 am in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road route 114 Portsmouth. Burial will follow in Portsmouth Cemetery in Portsmouth.Donations in his memory may be made to the Portsmouth High School Band, Education Lane, Portsmouth, R.I., 02871.
